I'm 50-50 on the 2-point conversion. If it works, it's a magnificent cap to a comeback, I had no issue making that decision. Also had a feeling immediately after the TD that's what would happen. No surprise.
Kicking PAT an settling for OT might not have ended any better, but both defense and offense were starting to get OU slightly off-kilter. Gained momentum on both sides in 4Q. OU did appear to play it safe on O in the 4th, maybe that would've changed with a tie score.
Bottom line, the fact ISU even got to that point after what happened in first three quarters, at least it was compelling until the end. Too many dead-balll penalties, some missed INTs, a few puzzling razzle-dazzle calls that didn't work.
Give credit to D for getting a timely fumble and interception when our backs were to the wall. And offense was productive in the 2nd half by and large.
