I'm 50-50 on the 2-point conversion. If it works, it's a magnificent cap to a comeback, I had no issue making that decision. Also had a feeling immediately after the TD that's what would happen. No surprise.

Kicking PAT an settling for OT might not have ended any better, but both defense and offense were starting to get OU slightly off-kilter. Gained momentum on both sides in 4Q. OU did appear to play it safe on O in the 4th, maybe that would've changed with a tie score.

Bottom line, the fact ISU even got to that point after what happened in first three quarters, at least it was compelling until the end. Too many dead-balll penalties, some missed INTs, a few puzzling razzle-dazzle calls that didn't work.

Give credit to D for getting a timely fumble and interception when our backs were to the wall. And offense was productive in the 2nd half by and large.

No, it was a good decision. OT is a different game than regulation. ISU kickers suck and stopping Jalen Hurts in OT on short fields is a tough task. Use the momentum to take the game with 2. Didn't work out.
Yes, when your offense has had the advantage over their D and you have a big kicking disadvantage it makes sense to go for two.

Brock: the offensive line came in and said we could ground and pound

So why didn’t Manning do that when we had 4 chances to get it in the end zone from inside the 10?!?

We played a bad game by Campbell era standards yet we were a two point conversion from winning. Work on the penalties and getting the defense off the field on 3rd down and we can have a special season next year. This year, just make a bowl and win the bowl to start the momentum for next year.

I really think we are a year away from having a special season. This whole year we have seen the same problems, we miss on too many interceptions, we had two pick six today if we just could catch the ball, and we are horrible on 3rd and long.
Great comeback, it was the right decision to go for two and win the game, TE was wide open, but Purdy put it right on the money, the receiver just did not catch it.

Hall is going to be a great running back, just keep the faith, next year will be the year that we all are waiting for. I know, we say that all the time, but look at Baylor, they are doing just enough to win, it time for the leaf to turn to our side.

I dont think it was said enough tonight but Brock had an outstanding game. He faced more pressure than I thought he would and TBH looked just as good as a National Champion Heisman candidate, with possibly the best WR in the Country.

This team is right there, but what worries me is the o-line. It’s already not good and it’s only going to get worse after this year

I am confident we can get the sixth win which by ISU standards is a good season. On the other hand, this team is a hair away from having the special season many of us have been waiting our entire lives for... the fact that we had a chance to win this one in the last minute shows how far this program has come in the past three years...

What.

Purdy is good from time to time but Heisman?? Hell no. Compare him to Burrow. Not even close.

Best WR is who? ISU? No. Jerry Jeudy or CD Rom. Shenault. Not anyone from ISU.
