I’m more surprised that a FG of 54 yards only takes 3 seconds. Snap it, put it down and travel 54 yards. Seems like that would be about 5.

KGYM is goofy … they do have the Cyclone sports radio contract, but since they’re in CR they have their noses firmly in the hind end of the Hawkeyes, so they have their own Hawkeye pregame and postgame shows … even though they contractually cant carry the actual Hawkeye games.

I’m sure this must have to do with that, being the CyHawk game - they try to have their Hawkeye pre- and post-game content while carrying John Walters for the game itself.

They had the ISU post game, then it sounded like Chris' show did not come on for at least 5 minutes (with play-in music just running). Eventually, they went to commercial and then yet another stupid ESPN show came on. They definitely prioritize just about everything over ISU programming. But, at least they had the post game today.
