You don't think getting Noel in presnap motion is worth the occasional try? I'm not saying run it 10 times a game, but I honestly cant remember the last time we ran it and its a beautiful play design.
It's too bad tOSU is off today.
I'll miss the 'why doesn't ISU throw the bubble or hitch for 60 yards like they just did to Marvin Harrison Jr.!?' takes.
Who blocks like Lazard, Murdoch, and Butler and who is scary enough at RB to account for?
That game was a baked in DM showcase that opened up everything.
Yeah I get that. Just seems like maybe one of those times you try to run up the middle for 1 yard, try that instead to see if it works. Whatever, I'm just glad we finally decided to throw it last week.
Time for these young guys to shock the Big 12!
I think with the personnel available dump offs should be the 'run game'.
I want to see if Jackson continues to expand. Imo he's the most talented receiver.

We almost got 'em 2 years in a row in Norman. I'd take this game again. Just flip the ending score.
Who knew then, that Purdy and Hurts would be playing like they are now in the NFL.
OU has been elite analytically this season. Seems like that staff is pretty advanced in that department in terms of down to down play calling, success rates and EPA etc. (BV mentioned it in his presser this week).
Defensively: With no Verdon and still some youth at LB I expect Gabriel and Co. to put some stress on Nikkel and the LBs in coverage. Purchase will also be tested after his poor performance last game. Need to find a way to generate pressure or else we will get picked apart. I expect us to limit them on the ground.
Offensively: Sounding like it will be another heavy dose of passing, this OU DLine is nasty, so Rocco will likely get hit a few times. He has been really good in maneuvering the pocket, but will need to be exceptional at that today. Will be the toughest test in terms of pass pro for this OL.
Hoping we keep it within reach and catch OU looking ahead - even in a night game. Let’s keep some momentum going into next week at JTS vs TCU, will be a great atmosphere.
30-17 OU
