ISU was good enough to keep TCU at bay in the second half without having to fire on all cylinders. TCU's offense is deliberate and they slow the game down a lot to stay in them. Once ISU got up 7 with time running out I wasn't too worried, because TCU has a hard time picking up the pace when necessary.

Nice to finally pull away! Finally shored up the D a little more at the end. For much of the 2nd half, our D was really frustrating to watch. A win is a win --- I'll take it! Now let's go get some payback against the Mountaineers!

Not sure why the worry. We've been clutch down the stretch several times all year. TCU hasn't won since December. They have no idea how to close out. We've done it over a dozen times this year. While it would have been preferable to blow them out, not all wins are achieved the same.
