Things start to get a little crazy on game two of a back to back, for both teams though.

history has shown that doesnt typically happen
FWIW, about midway through the second half yesterday, he lit into the team, and I mean lit into them. Honestly, have not seen that out of him before. What I could make out was he wasn’t pleased that we were letting Auburn dictate pace, and they were out hustling us on both ends, and he was right. With our bigs there is absolutely no reason why we got out rebounded like we did, especially on the defensive glass. That was the difference in the game.

I’m guessing are we the home team for the Dayton game?

Actually it was pretty positive, outside the usual miserable wretches that think a loss in game 4 is the end of the season or at minimum finishing at the bottom of the Big 12
Agree, it wasn’t an unreasonable game thread at all. Quick and easy to block the extremely small number of posters that go overboard.

I’d like to see us establish a half court set or two that focuses on getting Jackson/Jefferson looks in the paint and allows for kick outs to Milan and CuJo. That said, if it is there, push it in transition.

ppl just dont know ball
They don't... And yes they gave up a lead, but I was looking back at UNC vs KU box score a few days ago.
KU had a 20 point lead 15 and halftime. They were a missed 3 at the end of the game from UNC tying it.
That game was played at Allen.. Even the legendary Bill Self was not immune to having a good team make a big run in the 2nd half.

Its November, you are playing in a Tourney where 7 out of 8 teams that are anywhere from a 1 to a 7 seed in NCAA tourney.

Even if ISU goes 1-2 it will pay off in the long run. Much better than playing directional schools.

giving up a lead to #4 Auburn is much different than giving up a lead to, say, a MAC school.

We gave up a 23 point lead to A&M last year during the Thanksgiving tournament. That sucked b/c A&M wasn't good.

Auburn is good. Very good.
