I’d like the people complaining about Gilbert to watch a game with a coach to show them all the things he does for this team on both ends of the court. Anyone saying he wasn’t playing great defense that half just can’t get over a couple negative plays to be able to see objectively the good things he’s doing.

Not complaining about him at all, but it's clear that he's not playing with a lot of confidence right now. He'll come out of it, but he needs to focus on his defense because it will translate to his offense.

Jogging back after missing a layup while Colorado scored 5 on 4 tells me he needs to maybe have a seat and collect himself. He's way too valuable for this team to stay in his mental funk.

I'll say it again: TJ has alluded to him trying to take the ball into the lane and forcing things 1 v 3 and 1 v 4, etc.

If he's saying that publicly I'd guess he'd say the same things in a film session and does.

The hope is he can get better and avoid turning it over as we approach March. He looks to be trying to get the ball around the perimeter a bit more tonight as the rest of the team is.
