I think most of the Indian Hills team was at the game last night. Saw them in the concourse..some really big guys.Curious if the coaching staff targets any JUCO's moving forward, given that they have 4 years of eligibility, after the recent court ruling?
They would be 2-3 years older, physically bigger, and already proven against college players (versus HS players).. Likely do both but curious if that has been communicated but I missed it..
We do have several elite JUCO programs within a close distance to Ames, especially Indian Hills.
The recent court ruling wasn't a ruling, just an injunction until there is a ruling. The injunction allows Vandy QB to play another season of eligibility until hearing is complete. In response, the NCAA approved a one year blanket waiver to provide 1 year of extra eligibility to those who played at JUCO. That is also a temporary 1 year waiver to prevent further lawsuits. Nobody gets 2 years right now, and all temporary at this time.Curious if the coaching staff targets any JUCO's moving forward, given that they have 4 years of eligibility, after the recent court ruling?

I’m guessing this will just be a one time thing with the jucos. 5 to play 5 is most likely going to happenCurious if the coaching staff targets any JUCO's moving forward, given that they have 4 years of eligibility, after the recent court ruling?

If there’s a really good juco player near Ames TJ will be all over it. He’s very smart and an elite recruiter so we would know if there was a juco player he wanted.Curious if the coaching staff targets any JUCO's moving forward, given that they have 4 years of eligibility, after the recent court ruling?

I didn’t even know there was a prep school in Norwalk. That kid looks pretty legit! From the few articles that I read, looks like he’s from Canada. I think he just started playing here so the staff probably didn’t have a connection with him. Lots of big names after him.Anybody in the Norwalk area seen 6-11 280 pound Arafat Diane play? He’s listed as a 4 star top 100 recruit. It shows we haven’t offered and I think it’s because we already have Pearson locked up for this class.
Edit: he’s not locked up just Chrystal Balls, my bad

6'4 SG Christian Wiggins is visiting this weekend for the K-State game. 6'10 PF Sheek Pearson is visiting on February 8 for the TCU game.
For the name alone!Sheek is the one I really want.
Is it the 6' 11", long arms, great defensive instincts thing?Sheek is the one I really want.
