I agree there's bound to be attrition but if Lipsey and King commit BEFORE we land more players than the guys coming this year KNOW someone will have to leave. That's not just as simple as saying "25% of players transfer" I'm guessing the ones that transfer aren't already planning to leave.

That’s typically how it goes. That’s fine to know players will leave without knowing who yet. I mean they haven’t even started playing yet, the players should be focusing on getting ready for the season.

We could still see defections.

Besides that, if (and I say "if") we fill this year's with a couple of good ones, there's that possibility that we still have someone transfer out this year yet, if they think they are going to lose playing time. Hope not, but it wouldn't shock me. And, no, I haven't suggested anyone in particular, nor should we. Just sayin'

This is probably a dumb question since it hasn’t been asked but why would we sign both Lipsey and King, or better yet, why would they commit to the same school? Aren’t they both considered 1’s?

When I saw King was a point guard, I wondered the same thing. I hope they know they can play together regardless. Did someone say they are on the same AAU team? Are they on the floor at the same time now? Guess that would tell a lot.

Just saw a replay where Lipsey threw an alley oop to King, so apparently. Don't know how much.

Wouldn't be shocked if that is why Lipseys announcement could be made here shortly. I love the idea of two lead guards on the floor together. Hunter and Lipsey in the backcourt would be great. Hunter/Lipsey/King gets a bit crowded. Steel sharpens steel and that competition for starter minutes would be great but you'd think if Lipsey commits King may be looking for a more clear path for early playing time.

King is a combo guard, doesn’t have to play the 1. They play together in AAU already.

Whenever I try to look at Eli King's 247 page it directs me to his football ranking, which is much different. Does anyone else have that issue?

Because no one on our team last year could dribble.

Yeah it’s all bugged up and I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it. Try his rivals page.
