LW is a gifted athlete, but due to being injured and then having a difficult time working his way back in to the rotation with players that had built some pretty good chemistry, has been tough for him. I think he's forcing things a bit to show everyone he's ready but ultimately its hurting his chances somewhat.

quick update on Beverly, sounds like he'll be taking his time with his recruitment. Helps ISU to know if a spot will open up and build a relationship. I doubt Prohm would have offered if there wasn't some ISU interest from Harlond's side.

"There is nothing new with Rivals150 guard Harlond Beverly. The Detroit native has been unable to take any visits while he has been away at Montverde (Fla.) Academy this winter, but I do expect for some things to pick up with him as his team’s regular season is coming to a close this month.

Beverly sits as one of the top guard prospects available and has seen a number of respected programs enter his recruitment in recent weeks. Baylor and Xavier have been involved for the longest, dating back to his sophomore year, but Miami has caught his eye where he could visit the ACC program in the coming weeks. Iowa State and Utah just offered and could pursue further, as Georgia, Indiana and Virginia are have invested some time with him.

Beverly will likely not commit until taking multiple official visits. Where he lands is up for debate as Baylor and Xavier still might have the edge, but his upcoming visits could change things prior to his signing this spring."

A lot of moving pieces, but at least it seems like our frontcourt is set. Potentially the deepest we’ve had, albeit no certain All-Big 12 guys.

I’m hoping we have success in the grad transfer market. Assuming THT and TH return, there will still be 3 starters worth of volume to replace after losing the top 2 usage guys plus starting pg. That, in combination with our transfer success and Prohm’s history with guards should be very enticing to a guy in his last season.

I feel LW is always going to be a SG trapped in a PG's body at some level.

Not that I do not wish the guy all the success in the world. He might be able to play his way into the NBA or, at least, make a good living for himself overseas.

I think his biggest issue is his feel for the game. He has loads of talent and athletic ability, but when you can't make the simple plays, it doesn't matter.

I know, I sound old.

If THT and Tyreese both come back next year, we would have three returning starters with those two and Jacobsen. He's only a junior.

You are not wrong.

He is an incredible athlete and has lethal scoring instincts.

He just has a bad case of AAU-itis.

Haliburton's game sense, maturity, and eye for passing with Lindell's athleticism and shot-creation and shooting abilities would be an obvious lottery pick.

Is that even truly a concern? I mean THT is good, but I wouldn't consider him anyway NBA ready. definitely not TH

Remember THT is only 17 with a unique body and skill set for the modern NBA and the NBA drafts on potential which he has.
For reference ESPN's Draft Express updated their 2109 Mock Draft yesterday and have Talen as pick #21 overall. The pro scouts feel THT is ready, whether he and his family does is the better question.
