So KyKy is visiting today from the last I heard. Not sure how Kyky can take days off in the middle of the school year. However, I would guess if Coach is bringing him here still we still have interest in having him. Otherwise we would have cancelled the OV.

I wouldn't be surprised if the commit from Jackson last night was to prevent KyKy from visiting and taking his spot.

This is probably considered a college visit and even I could take a college visit on a weekday in high school and I was not a college athlete.

The reality is, Prohm doesn't have a ton of PT to guarantee right now. That can't help with Tandy.

I don't agree with that. We lose Babb, Shayok for sure and at least 75% chance of losing Wigginton. That's as wide open as it gets at the P5 level.

I tend to think Tandy has already told him he's waiting for Tennessee and/or Xavier to decide on him before he could commit to ISU, and so we've decided it's not worth the wait.

No, you’re 100% correct! There was most definitely talk of bringing Naz in at the semester that year that Lucious was redshirting. I think Naz could’ve graduated early from Findlay if we had wanted him to.

Thanks Doc...you saved me a visit to my Doc!

We lost a lot for sure but looking at the roster, you have Nixon, Lard, Young, Jacobson, Lewis, Griffin, THT, Haliburton and Conditt plus Leech, Anderson and now Jackson. Prohm has been very vocal about really only wanting to play 2 or 3 guys off the bench, that doesn't leave much PT. Barring a transfer, I'm guessing the staff expects those first 9 guys to all be contributors in '19. To me, that would mean very little guaranteed PT for an incoming player.

If there is playing time to be had with that roster, it looks to potentially be at the PG spot. You have some talented bodies, but no proven commodities yet. That might change with how guys perform this year, but during the time Tandy makes his choice, that will be an unknown (assuming Wigs goes pro).

That’s fine. If (and when) wigginton leaves we can go transfer and hopefully the publicity helps us land a highly touted 2020 pg
