Thank you.
Could we speculate? Sure. But what does it accomplish, just putting out hypotheticals? clearly, nobody else feels it is appropriate. Why are you still trying to push something nobody wants to talk about and have indicated as much?

If you want to go into detail on speculation of transfers, Hawkeye Nation has a whole board that people are talking about Tyler Cook transferring out. You are more than welcome to join the fun there.

Matt Bain on ISU recruiting Tyler Harris.
Curious if he knows something or is speculating with the "There are several potential transfer candidates on Iowa State's roster this season," comment?

https://www.desmoinesregister.com/s...is-tyrese-haliburton-jack-campbell/359596002/

Even though it has Wisconsin's Tyrese Haliburton signed, Iowa State has not shut the door on Tyler Harris, a three-star lightning-rod point guard from Memphis, Tennessee, who's one of the country's best remaining 2018 prospects. The Cyclones built good relationships with Harris and those close to him while recruiting him these past couple years, and those relationships don't just go away. Iowa State was in Memphis to see Harris multiple times in January, along with Memphis, Mississippi State, Baylor, Colorado State and Tennessee.

There are several potential transfer candidates on Iowa State's roster this season, so coaches are making sure they're still in good position with Harris, should a scholarship open up.
The spring basketball signing period runs from April 11 to May 16. In an ideal world, Iowa State would know if one of its players is going to transfer by then. And thus, Harris would know if Ames has a spot for him by the time he needs to make his final decision.

Of course, he could also decide tomorrow. The Harris camp has been very closed off regarding his recruitment.

But until the Cyclones know if they have an open scholarship or not, they can't realistically go full-throttle after Harris, unlike Baylor, Memphis, Mississippi State and Tennessee, who all do have an open 2018 scholarship. Plus, Iowa State already has a 2018 point guard it really likes in Haliburton.

If Steve Prohm and his staff can somehow land Harris in addition to Haliburton, great for them. There's a reason major powers have jumped into the mix since Harris didn't sign in November. He's an undersized bulldog who will immediately make a college team better.

He knows what everyone knows. It’s going to happen because it always happens.

I wouldn't say there is anyone that is no good. I wouldn't say that for any team. Just that that team or that level of competition or that team wasn't a fit for them.
If I had to guess, the only person I can see moving on to another team is Cunliffe. It sounds like guys like Vick and Newman who probably should come back for another year, are leaving regardless.

Is Newman going pro after averaging 12.3 points per game this year and 10 plus a game at MSU? That makes no sense. Oh well. See ya Newman (Must be said LIke Hello Newman on Seinfeld.)

Yep, that is what is expected. I think some kids just want to start getting paid to play asap regardless of whether they will be in the NBA or not.

Anyone watch the Missouri-Ole Miss game?
Besides thinking how it would have been nice to get a rematch with NWB at pg and Lard, it’s apparent a lot of teams would benefit from raiding the Ole Miss roster.

Rough shooting for Tyree and to a greater extent Burnett, but they controlled the game imo. FWIW, Tyree was the pg. Tyree reminded me a little of another New Jersey guard in Michael Nurse. Not terribly big, but athletic enough, quick, and aggressive.

I guess I don't see it as necessarily a negative thing against the kid or ISU. It can be, if you make it negative, i.e. saying the kid sucks or something. But you can be supportive of a kid and still say he may want to transfer if say he isn't playing and may want more playing time. But I can see where you are coming from now. You just don't want people to be ragging on a kid. Which I totally get.

You're not good very good at this, I think you should look at frequenting different internet sites.
