Appreciate the updates many of you post. I too am anxious/excited to see who we get. I know some are in "hurry up" and/or "oh, no!" mode, but we're not behind on anything at this point. While the success of the staff's post-TJ recruiting efforts remain to be seen, I'm very encouraged by their fervent activity and the fact that they're going after some very highly ranked kids but not staking the class on whether or not we get those kids. Give these guys a little patience.

Curious what earned your 1 like.

Ha! I don't recall. I just like to keep it simple. Certainly appreciate lots of posts but just don't bother to hit "like". You could say I'm a throw-back, anachronism,... old,...

Staff is watching Jericho Sims and McKinley Wright.

D1 Minnesota's 17s play here shortly. Dayton, Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Texas, Nebraska, & Virginia all here for Wright and Sims.

Update with their performance.

I know prohm follows some guy I never heard of in bama on Twitter that's class of 17 and I think it's this guy.

Our recent activity with 2017 PG's make it seem like we're trying hard to line up a fall back for McKinley Wright. Weatherspoon and Sexton are gone IMO. They blew up- out of ISU's range. McKinley probably has to be considered a Minnesota lean until proven otherwise.

I think the thread would be shorter if we just listed the 2017 PGs without an Iowa State offer.

Seems like a lot of mutual recruiting interest with Dayton and Xavier. I don't know if it's a regional thing or caliber of recruit, but my first thought is that Prohm is recruiting a more hard-nosed player than Hoiberg was. Looks like a lot of late bloomers with P5 size. I hope it works out, but I'm more comfortable with the top 150 guys (duh) and the style of play that brings.

It seems that Prohm has a recruiting philosophy that is much different than Fred. It is actually similar to what we see from CMC. If we think you can play at this level and you fit what we want to do, we will offer you. Do limit the number of offer you have out. Fred seemed to really focus on a small number of guys. Prohm has his group he has recruited the longest, but that isn't stopping him from offering other guys that can play at ISU. I like it. We will see how it all plays out.

He's definitely casting a wider net than Fred did, but it's hard to gauge if he's getting much traction.

Outside of Terrence Lewis, I would say Elijah Joiner is the most likely to commit. My concern about him is we are his only power 5 offer. It was reported that Xavier offered on CF, but he apparently told Alex Halstead that they hadn't been in contact so that may be misinformation.

We really need a minimum of 2-3 immediate impact guys with 1-2 being starter caliber, and I'm not sure we are sitting good with anyone that fits that description.
