That seems a bit extreme. And simply saying "7-2" ignores the "how you got there" part of the equation. I'm sure two straight losses, one a home loss to an inferior opponent and the other a blowout, took the wind out of a lot of peoples' sails.

In terms of tickets sold, just eyeballing the Ticketmaster site there might be a thousand(?) tickets that haven't been sold? So it doesn't appear to be all that far off from a sellout.

But in terms of actual butts in seats, there a lot of resale tickets available for a small fraction of the cost they were fetching for Texas Tech. Maybe the weather will help entice a decent last-minute walkup crowd.
To me that sounds very much like a fair weather fanbase haha

Guess you read over the part where I pointed out that in terms of actual tickets sold it does appear fairly close to a sellout. It's also worth remembering that UCF and Texas Tech didn't sell out until days before those games, and that was back when we were a top 10 team. We're no more or less a fairweather fan base than we were two weeks ago.

it’s going to be very disappointing if this team comes out flat and unprepared for the 4th game in a row. They looked completely disinterested in the first half of last weeks game so it’ll be interesting to see what happens tonight. Its weird that Iowa State is 7-2 and I’m not really excited about the game.

I think we can put our game in the must win category. Hopefully Cyclones come out more prepared and more focused than the other team for a change and keep it that way for the entire game

Last week they came out exactly how many wanted them to with a good start on defense and quick score.

There's more to it and I don't think the abilities of the opponents are getting credit.

Cincy has a good QB (mobile also) and two very good RB's, and the way KU manhandled ISU's defense I have a bad feeling about this one Cincy 38 ISU 24, please prove me wrong Cyclones.

I thought he wasn't supposed to be mobile.

Of course that would mean he's mobile tonight so nothing to really hang the hat on.
