Turnovers are disrupting the flow of the game in my view. Seems like so many of them are unforced. Then there are some where we try and get it to the bigs and they either aren't ready for it or its too high or low.
Yeah it is baffling how many of the TO's are just high school-level bad passes or simply dropping the ball or allowing a defender to easily just take the ball or swat it from our hands. We just didn't really do these things against Auburn, Marquette, Iowa, etc. And it's everyone. CuJo had some bafflingly bad TO's again on Saturday. Like, silly mistakes he never makes. Tamin threw a couple passes straight out of bounds, as did Gilbert. Heise's 1 pass that got stolen for a dunk on the other end was like - WTF how did he not see the Cinci defender!? Several entry passes into Jackson/Jefferson went straight out of bounds or were several feet away from where they were standing/posting. Jefferson again had guards come in and dig at the ball when he's in the post and he just loses the ball (this actually did happen in the Auburn game, and it was killer in that second half).

Hope they can adjust and get stronger with the ball :)

Yeah. It seems like it would be so easy to correct those but it's almost like it's a lack of focus or something.

These things happened against all of these teams. The end of the Auburn game is a prime example. Instead of a kick back to Cujo after the screen it was a dribble through three defenders and lose the ball. I'd have to revisit Marquette but they came back to tie it very quickly iirc and I'm guessing some weird turnovers or at least hurried possessions are in there.

I'm generally firmly in the 'how things are in Nov/Dec doesn't mean it will stay that way' frame of mind but so far it's been a consistent trend even if the actual numbers weren't high.

I'm hopeful it gets chipped away at least a bit over the next three-four weeks.

This year we also exchanged Big Rob and Tre King who were imposers of will on that end for Big Dog Dishon and Jefferson who are a half step slower on defense but a whole lot more proficient on offense.
BRE and Ward were just so good on D last year. It looks like we get about the same results either way swapping out elite D bigs for better offensive bigs.
