I normally don't care in the slightest about coverage on ESPN Sports Center, but if they aren't showing a ton of Niang/Morris feeding McKay for dunks this season it's their loss. Opponent was not the best but those three playing their second year together is going to create some really insane dunks all season.

Well, pretty sloppy overall but when we settled in it was a nice easy win. Nice to see some guys getting some PT. of those guys, Ashton looks most ready to fill in if needed.

Well its apparent that Carter and Ernst will only be used in emergency situations. Otherwise, why not play one of them 'with' four of the starters just for a few minutes? 8 minutes of cleanup time is great but I think its safe to say that we'll be living and dying with only McKay, Niang, and Nader to rotate as bigs if in foul trouble. Remember when some used to question whether Booker was giving us what we needed off the bench at times? Give anything if we had a Booker-type bench guy right now. Even Edozie. Did anyone ever answer my question about Chris Olivier and why TJ didn't continue his pursuit of him? Perhaps he wasn't as interested in us as I was lead to believe tho.

I think it's still too early to tell how they'll be used. From post game comments it appears that Prohm wanted about an 8 min block for them, but not longer. We'll have to see if they get used in small stints in the regular rotation after a few more games. North Dakota State might be a good barometer game.

Carter has the build to be a great player. His frame and movement remind me a lot of Wesley Johnson, now if he could only be as good. I think with some experience, Carter will be a strong contributor by his junior year.

I think the question of we have six players was reanswered tonight.
