Honestly, it feels like given where Baylor could be at, this will either be: we deliver a big ass kicking and it’s practically over at half, or nutcuttingly close and down to the wire. I don’t see an in between.

Agreed.

Ideal: crowd amped....Baylor starts with ball....defense forces 3/out (or a turnover)...first offensive series for us a couple of first downs on 1st or second down...then big play....crowd lathered up!

Not ideal: crowd amped....we start with ball and 3 and out......or Baylor starts with ball and mental error and they get a big play.

Had really good seats for that west side about 2/3 of the way up the LL around the north end 35. Not sure I’ve ever been to a more intense/ chippier game than that.

Going to the game, first game for me in Ames in over 20 years. Bought a white sweatshirt last week. Going to be 90F at time of tailgate. Oops. Heading out to find a white t-shirt this morning.

Baylor is not a bad team. Hope we put our foot on them right away and keep going. They have had some good 2nd halfs, but so have we.

Was recently in Boston, and told the local waiter I had to have an authentic lobster roll since we don't get that where I'm from. When told Iowa, he immediately asked about Caitlin Clark and I said "Nah, she went to a rival school" and he automatically recognized I was reppin' Iowa State.
