These guys pass pass the ball incredibly well and they are all very intelligent and selfless players. The missing factor tonight was an inside force to go to when the time was right. Cam was missing. I hope missing Sunday mass and smoking weed a couple of times was a worth a loss to a very easily winnable Arizona team.

missing sunday mass? steve prohm rejects the catholic faith from my understanding so that is not it. more like missing bible bouncing service.

i dont want him fired i just dont think he is a good in game coach.
i actually did want him fired last year tho post history proves it.
blah.
he looks so clueless during games.
ever notice he says things but no one hears him and he is often ignored.
why did we hire him lol
does he ever call plays?
wowsers this guy
sorry yes im melting down
this is how its going to be going forward
granted we did get tired
he just doesnt get in game coaching
fundamentals though he does understand
does not have the killer instinct personality
better suited for pee wee coaching imo

You liked ISU chances against duke, Gonzaga, and auburn?
Good point, I don’t know the bracket well. Just figured one in the bag.

So are we on tap for Illinois and... Xavier/?

Seriously just **** off. He took over with zero recruits lined up and has done everything possible to keep ISU relevant while building the pipeline. I’d say he’s done pretty darn good for having to basically start over.

I suppose you get up every morning feeling like you’re the only one in the world that does anything right and nobody else compares. If you can’t support our players and coaches, just leave.

Woof, someone is a tad upset about the game. Look, he’s a great guy but I just don’t think he’s a great coach. Never have. Very good recruiter though.

Edit: Also, who said I don’t support the coaches and players? I’m a long time season ticket holder and go to every game. Just because I don’t think the coach isn’t Bob Knight doesn’t mean I don’t support him. Get off your moral high horse.

We were up 10 and then Shayock chucked up an unnecessary 3. Then Babb and Shayock turned the ball over and soon the game was tied. It's a shame because we were making the hustle plays and passing well. Just need to take better shots. There's no reason to shoot so many 3s when they aren't going in and we are able to drive the ball so well.

They hit some big open 3s and we didn't. That's the way it goes.
No doubt our freshman are studs. Shayok and Jacobson are CSP's best transfers yet.

We'll win our share.

A lot of the 3s weren't even that open. Just good shots. Happens.

excatly thanks for having the honesty to stand up to all the kool aid drinkers here thinking the golden days are back.

It's a bunch of freshman, a bit of experience, and the best players are out. Relax.

Actually I've liked it better when ISU has beaten name teams when they are good.

Something to consider: the 16-17 team started the season 14-9 including a loss to a worse Iowa team than this year.

Lots can happen.
Good point, I like it when we beat name teams when they are good too. But, I hate losing to the name teams when they aren't so good. Pound them when they are down, don't let them slide by and keep that mystique they don't deserve. That's all.

Blow a ten point lead? Embarrassing. Shucking up threes, wtf. On coach.

Was the getting up by 10 on the coach too?

I think CSP would agree with you though - 8 guys that have played 4 games together and they have some more to learn. I bet he would like to teach them more quickly.

Question is - would you or any of other CSP antagonists out there have said we would be 3-1 and playing for the last shot against Arizona without 4 starters? 4 Freaking starts on the bench. 2 likely NBA draft picks on the bench. Seriously- performance tonight exceeded my expectations.

This team will be just fine.

Luckily for the name programs, they don't let a loss in November defined their season.

I don't think it will for ISU either.
