The amount of times they got their pocket picked was ridiculous! Should only happen once, then it should have woken them up!

Pocket picked, hurried passes, dribbling into traffic when it's not there.

Repeating but these are things from the whole season, just only worse the last monthish despite winning.

From a 30,000 foot view, it seemed Ok State was double teaming/trapping Jefferson anytime he touched the ball, especially in the first half. Jefferson was slow to react, resulting in the ball being stolen many times. It’s not necessarily Jefferson’s fault; the offense needs to communicate when the double team is coming so Jefferson can make a decision on what to do before the double arrives

Just my armchair coaching. But I’d be curious to see how well the team is communicating with each other on the court

Who is the leader behind closed doors after a loss like this? Unfortunately I don’t see it on the court. This is obvious to point out who it is for the top teams in the country, I don’t have a clue who it is for the team I watch every second of.
Feel like it needs to be Lipsey. But he just doesn’t seem vocal enough as a player.

Give us our 3 seed and let’s just get right for March
I really hope this happens, but we have two tough games coming up and momentum can be a *****. Trip up and it may be hard to right the ship.

I don’t care that other teams can win these types of games, even with injuries. We’re a last second tip in from being undefeated at full strength. If we get everyone healthy we’re good enough to make the final 4. If we don’t have everyone back we’ll get bounced 1st or 2nd round, regardless of seed.

I think this is a very legit question.

I don't see any arguing but they just kind of wait for someone to do something or try to do it themselves.

Still only one loss when we are fully healthy. All I care about now is getting everyone back and getting these last 3 games. If we do that, I think we still get a 3 seed.

I still think we get this right. But right now the energy is off and we are not building the way you want to build come tournament time.

One thing I think is missing compared to last year’s team is the tenacity and effort given consistently each game start to finish. We imposed our will consistently last year on teams and made them play the game we wanted them to. This year it seems, though our ceiling is higher we have these moments of shelling up and not drawing a line in the sand as often. We seem to have more moments of the other team imposing their will on us. Hopefully we can flip a switch, I know this team is capable.

They definitely aren't as athletic as most teams they play and are as good as the sum of the parts are playing.

I don't think the impatience with the ball is a talent issue though. You can be talented or not talented and still know to just hold up a bit and work for something to open up.
Really poor passing team. And lot of holes defensively now. The three guards are all best to hell.

Tj basically said they going to go back and practice hard. He gets the big bucks to decide, but those three guards need rest.

I will say— how freaking whacky is a basketball season? I honestly to god probably have more faith in Heise with the ball in his hands right now than anyone.
Yeah, there was a sequence where Nate passed up an open 3 and gave it to Milan, and I was like "WTF are you doing?!?!" and then I immediately laughed thinking about how much has changed since the start of the conference season.

What is the narrative of the eternal optimist posters after this one?

Won the second half?
Road games are tough?
Big 12 coaches are really good and scouting us?
Everything will be great when Keshon is back?
It’s one game. It’s a long season. The world isn’t ending. Maybe lower your expectations or start dishing out some big $$$. Road losses happen. You’re not going to make it as a cyclone fan very long if you think this is as bad as it gets.
