He is their best player and down the stretch we should have run a second guy at him to force him to give it up.

At which point we have people ******** that we’re leaving shooters wide open. It’d be different if Tech was a one trick pony today, but they weren’t. Their backcourt as a whole was dialed in.

Why disagree. You can’t ***** about the losses without acknowledging the wins.
Some are just disappointed with a 9-9 finish after a 7-3 start. We definitely underachieved at 9-9. Is what it is at this point though.

What's your position on losing the 6 of the last 8?

It was a bad stretch of basketball that fractured a team.

They’re trying to pick up the pieces now, and figure out a way to extend the season. I actually support them. You should try doing the same.

Rain, shpain. Sleet, shleet. We're tailgating!

Come to D-3 or C-5 from Noon to 12:30. Look for my truck with dual Cyclone flags. Serving water, pop, and a barley drink with corn syrup.

Somebody disliked my tailgate post! Anti-tailgate? Or anti-Coors Light? We had good fun giving drinks to folks as they passed by.

How do you know I'm not supporting them?

I'll always support the team no matter what and I do. I never take pot shots at the players (I'm not suggesting that you do, I'm sure you don't). I can't imagine how difficult it would be to be 18-22 years old (I believe THT was 17 until sometime in November) and be a D1 athlete in the media spotlight. I doubt I would've been able to handle it when I was that age. Which is why I'm more inclined to criticize the coach who I is earning a 7 figure salary. I think there are warranted questions about Steve Prohm's coaching decisions. Asking these questions are not mutually exclusive with supporting the team and players.

May I ask that you re-think the passive-aggressive accusations? Others would be more inclined to share their perspectives and it would lead to a more civil conversation.

@Cat Stevens What's so funny about my response?

And this is suppose to make the home losses more acceptable? Lol

Did I say that?

But I do think it needs to be acknowledged. 4 conference home losses is bad. 4 conference road wins (5 if you count SEC challenge in the middle of conference season) is good.

No doubt. The end has been BAD. Would we feel better about it if we started 3-7 and finished 9-9? Probably. That's why you have to take the season as a whole.

I can understand being mad and disappointed about the way the last month has gone. I can understand being disappointed in the season overall. But I think a lot of people's anger is just outrageous. It's like there is no room for nuance with our fans. I've been an Iowa State fan for 32 years and the day I'm angry about an NCAA tournament team is the day I want someone to put me out of my misery.
