Tamin can break Monte’s steal record today.

Not too optimistic about our chances of a short-handed road win today but I will predict Tamin Lipsey will make history today...

Kansas is not playing well but they are not a “horrible team”. Especially at home

Horrible may be a little bit of an overstatement.

They certainly aren’t good, barely average on most nights. They have talent, but that doesn’t mean they are a good team. Don’t be distracted by the name on their jersey.

The only team with a pulse they beat at home was a Milan-less Iowa State team. Not exactly a gauntlet.

Depth and the pieces fitting are their issues.

They played very well vs. ISU down there and ISU was still pretty foggy from their own issues.

Lipsey will pass Monte for 9th on the Big 12 career steals list. He should easily finish 3rd on the list with one more year and has a decent shot at 2nd, with an outside chance at 1st.

Way up there
Is he expected to play? They don’t really need another forward wouldn’t think.
I would assume he'll play the 3 behind Milan, we won't have the option of the small ball lineup with Heise at the 3/4 so we'll be big with Milan and Dwat at the 3, going to be some really bad offensive lineups

Hiese gets the start for Gilbert. We’ll see shortly who the 6th man is?

Edit; Cash your ticket if you had Kelderman as the 1st up.

Low expectations makes for a relaxing watch

I do think there is something to circling the wagons when there is a lot of adversity.

KG was turning it over a lot lately, I think ISU with this lineup will be conservative and with less risky plays maybe and I emphasize MAYBE fewer turnovers.

If we’d used some minutes to develop confidence for Njous perhaps we wouldn’t be QUITE so boned by lack of guards today
