Feels crazy to say...but I don't think that half was THAT bad (outside of shooting...) KU has a good defense, we definitely took some tough shots but also missed some good open looks from 3 and missed a number of layups / putbacks, along with free throws.

Sometimes you just don't shoot well. Team is competing and has been better in that way in general, just need to hit shots. Not saying there isn't stuff to clean up, but mostly just need to make shots.

I'll wait to give my opinion after the first half of the TCU game. I never expected to win this game, so it doesn't matter much. I'd enjoy being surprised in the 2nd half, but we all know that's not happening. It's Lawrence.

Ku plays defense well, but we are playing right into their hands.

I feel like I’m watching Space Jam, and the Monstars stole our power.

Let’s see how the second half goes otherwise maybe the team needs a week off to think about anything other than basketball.

They are competing….but each players spirit and swagger seems empty and gone. I have faith we get it right and all will be well …but it hurts to see this.

Love Gilbert when he's on but he's a ball hog too often and he handles the ball too much although in fairness he's their only player that can blow by anybody and get to the rim. It feels like Lipsey has taken a step back this season, need more from him as an orchestrator.
Yep, Gilbert lowers his head and you might as well forget anyone else is on the court. I think he played better with his dreads pulled up. They must be blinding his side vision right now cause he sees no one.

No. We're in a bad stretch. Get back to Hilton on Saturday, get back in the win column, get Milan back and we'll get our swagger back in time for March.
this is way bigger than Milan being out right now. It has an impact, but not getting blown out multiple games impact.

The double team is cute until u regularly leave the 3 ball wide open.
Sometimes it's a triple team and we leave 2 guys wide open. We at times seem to just chase the ball and an extra pass leads to an open 3. KState did the same thing. TJ needs to somehow shake things up and get some energy especially on offense.

I got a Heise poster at the UCF game. Are you saying I shouldn't put it up? It would go right next to Jeff Beverly's. Not even joking on that one.
That was the last game he made a shot. You better be prepared for a **** ton of Heise posters

I will be extremely disappointed if TJ doesn’t make a profound change for the 2nd half. Play Nojus, play freaking JT or Fish I don’t care. Something to wake the team up. For the love of God just do not come out and do the same exact thing.

I seriously doubt that any adjustments TJ makes at half could lead to a win here but I hope he tries something drastic. Have Jefferson run point-forward like Coleman Hawkins. Put in Nojus. Run five-out. Anything different than what they were doing in the first half and I’ll feel much better.
Go down trying something new!
