What an interesting post.

Why are there multiple profanity-laden statements in your message?

Great progress has been made in aggression management.

I feel really sorry for you.

I didn't have a problem with the officiating. I thought our defense was pretty good. The offense was the problem. Too many turnovers and way too much one-on-one stuff. We needed about two more passes on most possessions. But that's life on the road in the Big XII.

No reference, Nate Schmidt is our “OC” for our basketball team, and he’s dookie
You keep hammering this in multiple threads. Did Nate Schmidt draw up all the turnovers today? What about the missed open shots? How about the offensive rebounds we gave up on nearly every K State miss?

Scoring droughts of 5:33 (from 11-13), 3:36 (18-19), 2:01 (19-20), 2:36 (start 2nd half), 3:56 (26-28), 2:12 (33-35), 2:25 (43-45). In other words, we score in bunches, then go on long dry spells, thus we never seem to pull away completely, nor catch up completely.
Especially those two long droughts early zero in 5:33 and 1 pt in 5:37. Instead of being up 10 we are down 6-7 points.

But YES, primary culprits today are turnovers and giving up offensive rebounds. We perform average on those metrics we win today.
Totally agree, the scoring droughts at the start of both halves were killers. ISU could have been up 15 to 20 points at the start of the game, KSU was cold as ice, but so were we. The 2nd half start was the one the doomed this team to a loss.
Every time we would cut the lead down to 5 to 7, we just never could continue and unlike BYU the other night, KSU kept scoring points.

Again - I know it's hard.

As you noted through your sophisticated post that stated: "your can stop blaming the people on the board for pointing out how crappy the refs did THEIR job". Trust me, I hold the refs accountable for their jobs. Please know, I am passionate about good/bad officiating.

My message to all of us as fans is... can we please stop blaming the officials every time.

Let's focus on what Iowa State needs to do better to win.
Cool, I get it. I feel like we can point out the bad officiating, just like there are people in here that point out the bad plays and outings our players have.

There are also people who point out how the coaches are coaching both teams or acting, how good or bad the student section is, how the old people don't stand up and cheer enough and that people come back too late from halftime for football.

It's a message board. We're going to all vent about things. We all cope oin our own ways.

I'm going to blame the refs more just so all of you can be even more embarrassed by anonymous posters on a college basketball fan forum.
