I vote for taking up a collection here on CF so that we can collectively hire someone to shoot and post free online full videos of the games, provided that is allowed by the NCAA. The lack of video (even phone video) this year is disappointing. Any takers?

I read Travis Hines article on Monte and he was talking about fans coming out to watch him play and the only option is to go hard. So it may be shocking to you but some of these players actually play hard. Bubu is a 5th year senior and that doesn't stop him from playing hard.

No, I realize everyone brings their own level of effort to an exhibition. Some people are very competitive regardless of the situation. Ideally you would have a full team of guys with the competitive nature of Jordan. But that's not going to happen. If people want to note he didn't go hard, fine. But some are going the next step and questioning his heart and his ability to contribute next fall based off him not going balls to the wall in a freaking exhibition game. Ridiculous.

monte is going to be so much fun to watch. that kid is a hard worker, a leader, a winner, and a big time competitor. i think he's going to be hard to keep off the floor, even with Kane in the line up.

If one more person mentions lack of effort in the CCL, I'm going to hunt them down and gouge out their eyes with a rusty spoon. For chrissake, it's a rec league, in which the players play usually after a day full of practice and individual workouts. Get over it people!!!

I was all-in on Thomas as the best player in this class until I started watching Monte's highlight videos and interviews. Now I'm completely sold on Monte (still think Thomas will be great). I could easily see a Morris/Kane/Hogue/Ejim/Niang starting 5 by the holiday tournament.

I think the reason why people overreact and say he won't contribute next year because of his CCL effort is because he really struggled ladt year. That being said I am not one of the ones who thinks his CCL effort will mean he won't contribute. I think he can play a big role on this team. If him and Niang could get back to playing really well together that would be great.

Palo tore it up. He will be starting.

Whoever said Long missed a lot of shots is smoking something. He shot over 50%. He will be starting as well.

Thomas had a great game. He will be starting.

SDW scored twenty less points. He needs to be more consistent.

Gibson despite scoring 30 and getting 11 rebounds is the laziest worst player in ISU history and will likely lose minutes to Ellerman.

Niang has regressed he is getting out scored by freshman.

Agreed, I can't wait to see how it shakes out. I still think it's Kane/SDW/Hogue/Ejim/Niang at this point. Having Morris, Thomas & Percy off the bench makes me feel very good about next season.

Cousin, why a spoon? Why not a knife or an axe?

I thought it was obvious but then again people do actually react like that so maybe a pirate was needed

I am dense, a pirate is always needed. :twitcy: Besides, have you talked to many here, what you posted isn't far off from some peoples posts.

Just mount some GoPro's on the player's heads and collect the video at end of the games...that would be sweet!

I think having SDW and Thomas come off the bench is like having 2 McGee-lites. 2 guys that can instantly score from anywhere at any time. And 2 McGee-lites might be even better than 1 McGee!
