Yes but we lose other games. You have a philosophy and work it, and sometimes teams shoot out of their minds against it. Doesn't mean you throw out the while plan.

This complaining is like clockwork... it happens every time the teams hit 3s. Even though we've made 2 s16 and won b12 championship doing exactly this.

Time for Chatfield to come out of the game

Chatfield does some nice dirty work but needs to shoot the ball once and awhile to keep the defense honest. Playing the whole game without attempting a shot just doesn’t cut it.

To be clear they are a good shooting team. They're typically terrible defensively. They're going to have good shooting nights and that's certainly easier when we happily give up open looks in the corners. When teams don't turn it over we risk getting torched.

They never play a different style defense no matter who they play. They live and die by it. It’s a great defense. The problem is Iowa is shooting lights out, as expected. They won’t play half this good the rest of the season.

They're packing the paint making it much harder for him, and the refs aren't bailing him out when he attacks the hoop. Not great.

How can you be a basketball commentator since the Tom Davis area and not understand what a back court violation is and isnt. that was not a back court violation. The ball never crossed the line. The player doesn’t matter.
