Clinic? Perhaps. A number of open looks. But even then this crap can't be sustainable for them.
Yeah that is a huge positive. I thought if we were losing at half, we would have 2-3 guys with 2 or 3 fouls. That lets us play aggressive in the 2nd half. Gotta play tougher def when we can't hit anything. Get easier shots.
Refs were horrible last night and pretty clearly toward Iowa in women's game. They were fine first half, maybe made a few mistakes but nothing one sided.
This is a bunch of Iowa kids shooting out of their minds because the superior local program comes into town ranked #3. They just want it more. It's exactly like our games on the road against UNI used to be. They aren't talented enough to make deep March runs but they are talented enough when the play like they are on fire they'll win against a B/C effort.
They're ahead for the same kind of reason a lot of our middle of the pack Big 12 teams beat KU at Hilton.

Our guards are getting blown by which leads to open shots. Need to lock in
Main adjustment, stop doubling in the post and cut off the base line. ISU matador defense led to about 30 points in those areas.

We tried too hard to double team and trap Iowa. They hit at least 5 wide open threes from us failing to trap. Guys need to back away from that since it isn’t working.
I just have a feeling Iowa will stretch the lead out to begin the half and that will do it.
Maybe give CuJo or Heise a shot on Harding.... that dude should not be killing us like he is with the drive-and-kick outs.
