On the flagrant, the defender took Keshon’s legs out from under him with an arm/shoulder swipe. He was not making a play on the ball and it was very dangerous. 100% agree with the flagrant.
I hold my breath watching KG's spectacular moves. Was relieved to watch him get back to his feet today ..

It was one of the very few plays (the only one I remember) that ASU replayed on their JumboTron.

Looked pretty dirty to me.
KG...drives us crazy. One minute, completely outta control. Next minute completely outta control...yet makes a much needed, completely outta control shot!

Anyone else listen to the post game and hear Jefferson talking about CuJo? He said (paraphrasing) "It's going to be hard for us to replace his scoring next year. Hopefully he can get another year of eligibility." He said this without anyone asking him about next year.

It's interesting to me because obviously Jefferson is planning to return next year, and there must be some optimism that CuJo could get another year around the program. Obviously everything could change in the off-season, but still glad Jefferson is currently in the head space that he's planning to come back next year. I also think TJ would hate hearing him talk about next year in any way to the media.

This board would be losing their mind if that was called on us.

I'm sure we would be too. We had a call at KU a few years ago that was upgraded to a flagrant that wasn't even called a foul on the floor. Or numerous targeting calls in football. Doesn't change that it was the right call.

We've had worse called against us.

It wasn't dirty\malicious, or even intentional, but the flagrant foul doesn't care about that. By rule it was a flagrant.
From what I saw it looked like Gilbert was gathering himself because he was expecting to get nailed and the contact to the upper body never came. The defender kinda ole'd him and hip checked him, which was definitely a foul, but not sure about the flagrant part. For what it's worth John and Eric thought it wasn't a technical and they constantly complain about the refs screwing ISU.

Well they ran the play in slow motion a few times and the TV color guy said it was a flagrant foul, and the refs reviewed it in slow motion and had the same opinion.
I was looking at it from what the contact was initially which wasn’t much. When I considered it was a clear path foul from behind it changed my perspective.

Having being at the game today, I will say he should ***** about their fans. They had a chance to knock off the #3 team in the country and could barely be bothered to get in the game and pick up their team. The loudest that arena got was after we had that 8-0ish run to take our lead in the second half. I lost my voice temporarily after screaming during that run. I’m curious to rewatch the TV broadcast and see if that comes across
I was at the game today too. It was crazy how many ISU fans were there. And they drowned out the ASU fans. The best was the "Cyclone! Power!" chant during a second half timeout. It was Hilton Southwest today. It was sad seeing Bobby Hurley wave his arms trying to get the fans to cheer when the Sun Devils were bringing the ball up the court. Having three sons and three stepsons who did or will graduate from ASU, I root for them when they aren't playing ISU. But I have to admit it's hard getting excited about their basketball. It's really football first and baseball second at ASU.

I watched it again on Hulu.
