I did not expect to get our ass kicked by KU 1.5 years into their rebuild. In the realm of “sports related emotional investment” - this is depressing and embarrassing. It took them no time at all to surpass us. Hard to let that sink in.

So is their coaching that much better than ours or is our talent that much worse? Makes no sense.
They are way more experienced and I think more talented overall. And their coaches definitely had them more prepared and focused this week.

Then an area is open that KU will get the ball to.

Not entirely true.

The reason he is finding guys is because of time, ****** backers, and a few weak spots in the secondary. The most important part in stopping him is eliminating the time. That will speed up throws force more mistakes, and not allow guys to find soft spots in the zone. At least in theory.

But Heacock isn't even trying it. Rushing 3 hasn't worked all year and I've stated we don't have the personnel to run the 3-3-5. We'd be much better off with 4-2-5...Making us stronger up front while eliminating one of the worst players on the field for us (an LB).

Offensively I'm just so disappointed....we were so limited, and we did nothing in two weeks to add anything

Getting embarrassed at home by Kansas should never be acceptable. No excuses about being sick or young and inexperienced this week.
