Not sure if I'm reading your analysis accurately, but my main point is ... don't let it come down to officiating vs. a team you should beat, I don't want to roll the dice on it.
YES, WE UNDERSTAND THAT.
BUT THE OFFICIALS DID COST US THE GAME.

1000%. Big difference between that and claiming a B12 conspiracy against Iowa State.
No way they were overturning anything today with the 3 ESPN+ webcams. The problem is there's no consistency. In many games they do just make the "right call". In others they hold an extremely high standard to overturn things where you can't even piece together things to come to a conclusion
It would appear that way. I think they called it a fumble on the field because it was the “easy call” since the ball came out, thinking they could go to the replay booth and make the right call.on Hall’s TD the only way a replay official gives ball to WVU is blindness or fixing a game.
100% conclusively not a fumble.
Yeah don’t give up 500 yds and pressure vs 3 all game. Not sure if I'm reading your analysis accurately, but my main point is ... don't let it come down to officiating vs. a team you should beat, I don't want to roll the dice on it.
Did you watch the Oline play? Did you see the receivers not get separatation? Did you see Purdy have to do it himself with his legs at times? You be you and not let stupid stop you from sharing your opinion. Your $&@$y takes expose how little you know about the game.
Coaching is an issue. Larger one than people want to acknowledge
Most gutted I’ve ever felt as a Cyclone fan. Pretty much nothing to play for with 4 games to go after thinking this was finally the year we would break through. All the hard work leading up to this season and it’s just over. I’ll still be there next week but it’s going to be 11 on 19. You bet I’m absolutely including the replay official in there. Can we come up with a Horns Down for B12 refs?
it isn’t that difficult.
but a large percentage of message board posters don’t understand anything.
Exactly. If this was a normal broadcast there would be many more angles. No way they were overturning anything today with the 3 ESPN+ webcams.

Really! When was the last time we were the conference champions in football? 1912 I believe. We are losers! Truth hurts!
I’m feeling that same agony, but I disagree there’s nothing left to play for. A big middle finger to UT and OU would make this season fun. Definitely won’t be the season we wanted by any means, but that’s about the best I can come up with to salvage the season. Most gutted I’ve ever felt as a Cyclone fan. Serious question, if you feel that way about message boards why join in?
The replay views on that play were horsesh*t!The right question is, what fumble? It wasn't a fumble. It was either down inside the 1 or a touchdown. There was no fumble. And the fact that there are people who get paid to still be unable to correctly interpret what every schmoe can see from their television sets indicates either a screw job or unacceptable incompetence.

I really feel like a big problem lies with the “indisputable evidence” rule. How do you even define that? To me it looked like a 99.99% chance that ball crossed the line. By definition that .01% meant the call stood. That f****** sucks.
