Hopefully they right the ship when the Brewers come around. That will make this sweep massive.
The way this team is playing while banged up is incredible
We get Steele back and Brown is our closer mid June.
Wesneski is the best pitcher in the history of baseball.
Splitting with Marlins was bad, but sweeping this series makes up for it. Ill take a 5-2 homestand anytime.
Hope these young guys take advantage of their opportunity right now and make it a difficult decision who to send down or outright when the roster is healthy. Canario and PCA going to get a lot of time with Suzuki and Bellinger out and Happ still being cautious with the hamstring and with Steele and Hendricks on the IL too lots of innings for guys to carve out some roles and push out guys that struggle.
Teaching this summer sets up a nice trip to Chicago and a game at Wrigley!
