This cubs team isn’t going to make a World Series run this year, and I’m okay with that. I’m happy with making the playoffs this year. It’s just been too much of an up and down inconsistent season.

Forget the fact he’s on my fantasy baseball team.

Happ was drafted a second baseman. He played double digit games at second base in Iowa this season.

Why did this front office call him up if we’re going to let him sit and watch Kemp and Bote, who are even more automatic outs, over Happ?

Loving this pickup from Detroit
He’s been fantastic so far. He was really good last season too. Hopefully it’s one of those Verlander/Hamels (to a lesser degree than Verlander) type situations where a change of scenery is all he needed and he finishes the year on a tear.

Seems like Cishek is usually good for giving up at least one HR per outing. He's outdone himself. (here's where someone tells me "uhh, no, he's actually been pretty good because blah blah blah")

I think the heavy usage over the last couple years is starting to catch up with him.
