Yeah. He needs to get chased and then we need to try to "get to" their bullpen. Isn't lookin' too promising at this point. I also agree about Davies. Do you think we make a run at someone like Cole Hamels?

Hamels would cost us Thames or Aguilar I think. I don't think at this point we need to make a run at anybody. If Nelson doesn't come back well, then probably.

Helluva game. Congrats on the series win.

It's better than the game being blacked out on ESPN or MLB Network, but facebook is not a great way to watch. I've never been able to stomach Plesac for very long. If nothing else they should have synced up with Ueck.

I had Ueck on the whole time. Plesac mispronounces everyone's names.

Cards own us at Miller Park. 39-20 now under Matheny I believe. Glad we could finally win a series at home against them.

8-2 on the homestand and we finish May 19-8, 15 games above .500.

Plesac is just a dumbass. He's bugged me as long as he's been in broadcasting.

Crew is the best team in the Central right now. They're not the most talented and you have to figure the Cubs will figure out their rotation at some point, but the Brewers look like they're in it for the long haul. They have a lot of the pieces you need... a solid lineup, great D, and a strong pen. Nelson will help but I have to assume they're in the market for rotation help.

I think the Cards will stick around to pester the top of the division but I'm not sure how much staying power they have.

Missed the game - my eldest daughter was playing in the state tennis tourney today. It was a rough day for her and her doubles partner - lost both of their matches in heartbreaking fashion. The only things saving this day from being a pit of misery is that Wiggs announced his return and the Brew Crew rings up another series win.
