Loved getting the series win (makes up for our previous series with them), but am still pi$$ed about last night & that we should have swept them.
Hated that Facebook broadcast. Never heard so many mispronunciations of names, and of course, it was only Brewers players.
While I was disappointed we did not pick up a series win in NY, I was at least somewhat optimistic that, considering the high level of opponent, we were starting to trend upward. Then, we come out against a struggling Reds ball club and completely get worked over tonight! UHG!!!!!
Too bad we couldn't insert him into the line-up multiple times. Love that we got 2 runs - but man, 2 on & no out and no more runs scored. Gotta do better than that if we want to be relevant this year!
Domingo just can't get it going. Yelich is active, should have put him in there.
I think it would have been better had Domingo done like he often does - strike out - on his at-bat. Maybe Sogard's trip to the plate would have gone differently with only one out?
Don't wanna jinx anything, but Guerra has been solid & seems to be in 2016 form. Hope that continues. What I wouldn't give to have Jimmy Nelson healthy and the ace of our pitching rotation! NOW, our offense needs to start generating more runs - can't keep leaving so many risp stranded!
