First Masters without Arnie in my lifetime.

Dustin Johnson has won his last three starts. He's the clear favorite.

Russell Henley winning yesterday will now be in the field this week. Big for him since he's from Georgia and played golf at Georgia. He's got game.

Come on man, that's not a dark horse.

Give me Rory. I'll take Sneds as my dark horse.
My reason for him being a Dark Horse, his last 4 tournaments in the last month and a half plus:
Feb 16
Genisis Open - CUT

Mar 2
WGC-Mexico - T25

Mar 16
Arnold Palmer - T45

Mar 22
WGC Match Play - T51

He's not been playing well after a great start to the season. He is my dark horse as I think he turns it around this week.

If you want to get that technical, though, I'll give you a third option. Matt Fitzpatrick.

There could be a advantage to going out Thursday morning because it will softer and less windy.
I always find Major tournaments that have a difference in playing surface/weather throughout a day so fascinating. You can feel the difference while you are playing, but it is a diferent thing to watch it unfold. People out early putting up insane numbers, then noon hits and the winds roll in and people are putting up god-awful numbers, all within a matter of hours. Golf is crazy, man

I can't remember what tournament it was last year, but I think there was one where only 1 guy from the Thursday afternoon tee times ended up in the Top 15. I think it was Rory.

THat is the instance i was thinking of while writing my reply! I can't remember for the life of me though. If I had to guess, I would say The Open? I know the US Open at Oakmont didn't get off like half of the golfers the first day last year, as well.

Yeah, it was The Open.

The draw really determined the winner (all respect to Henrik).
