Being front row in the student section during the 2013 game might be my favorite memory from all of college. The floor was legitimately shaking when Gessell was shooting free throws. Loudest I have ever heard any sports event get.

My son is in the front row tonight in the student section in Iowa City in full ISU gear. He might have a great time, but also not so great depending on how it goes.

I was hoping he would play so we can win fair and square but a win over the hawks is always a good one

The FS1 crew will be all over the Murray injury and all kinds of stuff about the physicality of the B1G.

Channel 9 in CR said it was lower back problem. SID says foot injury. Something doesn't seem right. I thought t hy eye are a medical school.

Terrible news for Kris and for ISU.

It’s now a lose-lose situation for ISU. Win the game and it proves nothing since Iowa didn’t have their best player, and lose the game, and that’s flat out embarrassing.

Takes most of the enjoyment out of even watching it.

I still wouldn't count it as a bad loss so... whatever.

Tournament selection won't worry about a Murray injury come March. But if he's out long, it could hurt Iowa to the point of not being a good win/loss

Surprised how little the line moved without Murray. Perhaps he's not seen in as high regard as Hawk fans think?
