Interestingly, Erich Church was born May 3, 1977, 4 months before the resumption of the Iowa State - Iowa series!

my introduction to the Iowa/Iowa State Rivalry.
Back in 2012 I was working at a pharmaceutical/billing call-center. A sales rep from Iowa was visiting the call center, meeting with the sales management team.
We’re making casual conversation and I ask her “So are you an Iowa fan or an Iowa St fan?”
She looks at me right in the face and says ”Do I look like a ******* ‘cy-clown’ to you?? GO HAWKEYES!”
She then just walks away.
After that day i never said “it just means more” in the SEC ever again.
