Iowa State played harder for longer...D did just enough. Love the way they fought. Wonder what kind of defensive adjustment will be made for next season...granted lots of guys gained experience. Maybe we're good?

I think it’s usually more that despite being these dorks’ job, outside of a handful, most of them don’t do any research. Today was like 50% Cam Ward talk, 40% pop tart talk, 5% Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders talk, 3% cat guy talk, and 2% everything else.
That cat talk, while Freyler was laying on the ground injured unbeknownst to the announcers was weird.

I didn’t think the calling Beau was a bad one. I thought worst one was no call when Alston got mugged in the end zone on last drive. Thankfully got holding the next play so didn’t really matter in the end.
Yeah, the Freyler one was correct. Way early he was grabbing the WR and holding him, before all the hand fighting went on.

The worst miss was down in the end zone on a ball Rocco threw away to the left, Burkle was getting bear hugged in the middle of the end zone. It wasn’t near where the pass was thrown, but was super obvious holding.

And the one where he threw the ball to Alston and the Miami defender was grabbing his shoulder.

Their biggest lead was without Ward, even if taking away 3 point lead starting the 2nd half.

The determing factor was ISU offense against Miami defense. When the latter played well or at least got stops, Miami was in control. When the former executed, ISU led

We struggled to stop the run BIG TIME, but anybody who watched Miami's games this year knows they won two games because of blown replay reviews. They could easily be 8-5 today.

ASU, BYU, ISU and probably Colorado and KSU were all as good as any team at the top of the ACC, and the middle and bottom of the Big 12 was likely significantly better.

They barely even mentioned Matt Campbell's name.
