OK, thx. But did he get re-injured? And he was held out of our last what, 5-6 games, because of an injury. What was his injury?

That's what I'm curious about. Hope he is OK.

Mo idea. I assumed he re-aggravated an injury when he didn't play in the 2nd half.

I'm sure it's already been discussed a lot, but I don't have time to skim 127 pages. Why did Martinez not get a flag for pointing at Ebel? Has that rule been deleted?

Another related thing my son and I were "discussing". He says Noel taunts a lot. I said What?!?!? He's probably the most chill guy I've ever seen. But his example was the 1st down point. Do you consider that taunting? I don't in any way.
I agree with your son and I like it! I watch to cheer for the Cyclones and be entertained. When my favorite entertainers are clearly having extra fun, I have extra fun too.

Noel consistently jaws with his defenders and gesticulates (point, little flex, “too small,” etc) and it makes me smile every time. I think it’s great to have that on your team when it comes from a high quality player and leader who backs it up.

A couple of thoughts from the game:

*That long TD run early in the game was an obvious taunt. The RB was pointing directly at Cooper Ebel. He then high fived a teammate and started pointing back at Ebel again after the teammate had passed by him. How that was not a penalty was mind-boggling.

*Hansen dropped an easy third-down pass that would have easily gotten the first down. We went for it on fourth down and got stopped. Hansen is usually really reliable out of the backfield so not too concerned but it was nice to see Rocco use that release valve a lot and should use it more in the future.

*Noel was really close to stepping out of bounds before making that long catch on the last drive. He played fantastic in this game. Noel was incredibly clutch late in games this season. He had so many big catches late in games.

*During the postgame interviews, Dom Orange mentioned about how he was impressed by Marcus Neal in this game. Neal is a true freshman and teammates are already praising how well he plays.

Hansen had several drops during the season. That one weird one in that Utah game was almost terrible and a couple others. He’ll be fine though. That’s something that can obviously be improved and worked on.

Defensive players going all crazy with a celebrating dance on a 2nd down stop is sort of a bad look when the other team nails an easy 1st down on the next play. Not really talking us as much as it is just a thing in most all games. I'd save it for a big stop to force a punt if it were me. Or maybe an actual sack or great tackle.

Celebrating game changers is great but flaunting gets to be too much.

Players talk all the time but I tend to die on the hill that it's more intimidating when a team doesn't act surprised about making the basic play.

Full on sicko speculating on KXNO. Went from CMC did Higgins and Porter dirty by making them dress before opting out, to doing that for gambling reasons? WTF?

T&C can **** all the way off. Degenerate gambling pushing ebablers. **** off. What a weird tangent to go down. Just trying to speak their hatred into content.

We'll probably get to know what kind of injury Brezina had when Brezina himself tells us in a 2044 Williams and Blum podcast!

It was strange to dress them and do warm ups. That's playing it really really close to the chest.

Matt Campbells job is to win games. Sometimes that might include a little gamesmanship. As long as its within the rules then its going to happen, and Campbell is not the only one that does it. Gamblers can be really annoying

I laugh when WR/QB/RB get flagged for celebration penalties when pretty much every defensive back in the history of the sport celebrates 10x more every play the ball gets thrown their way for an incompletion even if they didn't do anything.

Question for rules nerds on this one.

I also noticed he was really close to going out of bounds and coming back in, but it looked like he may have been pushed or pulled out of bounds. Does it matter for that call if a defensive back pushes or pulls the receiver out? If it does the play is probably fine even if he went 3 yards out of bounds, if it doesn't that play was inches from not counting.

OK to listen to mock them...but man there is like 25 hours a week of ISU podcast/audio content now outside of game broadcasts.

The shows that only talk Iowa on Iowa Everywhere are significantly better than what KXNO has been for a long time.

You could speak a little more clearly to start. I'm not sure what you are saying. You obviously have some complaints, but I am not in your head and do not fully understand your context. Some of it, yes, but you could explain it better. Maybe.
