I want to be mad but then I remember 2 years ago we won single digit games and this year we will be tourney bound again.
My favorite last year was wanting everybody benched on a team with hardly any depth.
Why did you log on today? To just make fun of other people? Dude. You knew what you were going to find, this ones on you.

So yeah, this one sucked and we probably should have won. But it took Lispey sitting way more than usual with foul trouble, 2 players injured, every weird bounce turning into an Oklahoma State 3, and a ton of scoring droughts for us to lose this one by 2 points. We're fine unless Grill is really messed up by the injury
This one really, really, really sucked but we were never really Big 12 title contenders anyhow. Just get in the tournament with everyone healthy and a decent seed and see what happens. We're shooting way above where we probably should be anyhow right now
Only actual complaint I have right now is we need to give Jones less minutes. He's been a total 0 for a while now in these games. Theoretically what puts him above Ward is he has more ability to score but that's literally just been in theory since conference started, and he's impossibly dreadful at free throws. Hopefully Ward can take some minutes since he's improving on defense and Jaz takes some of his too when he's back

If you thought we were actual conference contenders then I feel like that's squarely on you. We started hot and got some luck but we certainly aren't and never really were at that level of good. Kansas State isn't either if that makes you feel any better.
It had to have been ruled an inadvertent whistle. If it hit anything it would have been out off of ISU and been awarded to OSU.
Still opportunities to contend for title (or at least make it interesting), but to have realistic chance, need find a way to hold on in games like this to do it.
.. I'm bummed, but broader picture, we could've lost to TCU & OU, so I'll take the road wins when we can get them. (Also probably should've won at KU, so I guess we're 2-2 in close road games, we've seen worse).
If it had been nip & tuck entire way, then lost by 2, you shrug a little ... having that massive lead early it feels worse. Not that I expected to maintain or extend it, but I still had a decent vibe how first half ended, thought we could keep it above a couple of possessions for long enough. Alas ...
I’m sure this has been discussed, but can someone explain how Avery Anderson was credited with making 2 FTs on that Lipsey “foul” in the early minutes of the 2nd half? Might have been OSU’s first 2nd half possession.
I know, for a fact, we were up 12 when that play happened. Lipsey was called for a “foul” on a 3 point attempt my Anderson.
I saw Anderson miss the 1st of the 3 FTs, make the 2nd, and miss the 3rd. At the end that series, we were up 10.
Did I miss a lane violation and a 4th FT? I had to have.

What's weird is Hoiball somehow convinced fans that ISU was back to
winning regular season titles when they competed for the conference title for about two weeks in 2015.
What I think is getting lost today since we lost the game, but Gabe is hitting monster shots in conference play including our 2 losses...
I have a feeling most pollsters don’t watch more than 6 games per week. Being top 10 would have made people pay attention a little more. From an NCAA perspective it’s nothing.
