I loved this one by Tamin, in the 1st half, even better than the one he did in the 2nd half, from the Rt. side, which was also great!

There is only one Tamin. It would be nice if he could further develop that type of play, the misdirect or no-look pass, etc. He is ready to be an assist wizard of sorts, if he wanted to.
Very interested in how Sr Tamin’s game develops. From my view he’s taken an intentional step back from being ball dominant with Gilbert and shoulder recovery.

Feel like it’s his team next year and he and Joshua could run some solid two man game.

Could get WVU or Kansas in championship
KU we did beat once this year. WVU ended up in Houston's bracket, so it will be one or the other of them, and I wouldn't bet on the Mountaineers with how they've been playing.

That isn't why. You don't think Nojus can handle the ball?
Nojus has looked terrible with the ball in his hands. So no, I do not believe he has good handles right now. The last time he entered a game he tried to dribble in to the lane and fell down while losing the ball.

Totally agree. He had multiple chances in the non-conference to prove he could help and never took advantage. We also aren’t in practice, but I’m guessing he hasn’t been lighting up there either. Hope he sticks around, because I think his ceiling is high. Naz never looked special is freshman year and he ended up being alright..

Taped the game. Watching it, I couldn't believe all the KSU shot clanking off the rim. Looks like they were 3/21 from 3.

I don't see it as a red flag if a true frosh SG isn't playing PG over a sophomore PG who has had more time in the program.
One is a walk on and one was a highly recruited player who is more than capable doing what Kelderman does when he's out there.
So Nojus is a backup point guard? Kelderman is a walkon backup point guard.
Why are people getting so caught up with pg vs sg? It's possible to be able to play both.

It's understanding the defense. It takes time to learn.

We really don't know the last part and maybe sometimes experience in a system matters more than recruiting numbers. Maybe Kelderman knows the defense better for positioning, etc. and it's just that simple.

The second part: why do people get so caught up in guys getting developmental minutes when tourney seeds and the team winning are more important.

The obsession with this kind of stuff despite the program being as solid as ever is next level.

I think Kelderman is somewhat of a message to the team. TJ wants to recognize the players that are ideal to his cultural goals. Rob Jones was a great example of that even though he improved maybe the most I've ever seen a guy improve at D1. In a military style culture like TJ's it can be hard to keep moral high. Giving Kelderman minutes improves that moral for the guys on the bench and encourages the more privileged players to continue to put it all out there.

There is an NCAA rule about hitting tables?
I've never seen it not called when a player slams a fist on the scorer's table. Refs might have missed player slamming the ball on the ground once or twice, but if noticed that is also an automatic T.
