Eh I really don’t think Illinois played that well truthfully. Early on yes but for almost 3/4 of that game I don’t think they did much that was anything crazy.

And they missed a ton of free throws. Both teams played poorly, one just outsucked the other.

ISU didn't have to be a whole lot better to win this one. It was frustrating they couldn't get the three or four more plays they needed over the course of the game when they've done it so often.

Losing because of layups is what makes this the most awful loss. We could’ve won this and we are unable to make any layups. Absolutely horrible tonight. The effort was there and we tried hard, but when you can’t make the easiest shot in the game to make then you are going to lose.

I am livid. Tired of seeing teams like FAU, VCU and other directional schools advance further in the tournament than I have ever seen ISU go. Just once can we get one of those garbage Scott Drew draws?
