Officer Cory Morrissey

I saw this on the Nevada Journal's Facebook page: Nevada Mayor Lynn Lathrop swore in Nevada's newest police officer tonight, Cory Morrissey of Ames. Morrissey went to Gilbert High School and then played football at Iowa State University, and was one of the team captains in 2014. He graduated from ISU in 2015 and was presented a contract to play for the Ravens in 2015. But he turned it down to be closer to his family. Now he will be putting on the uniform as Nevada's newest police officer. Welcome to the community, Cory!

On a serious note, a similar thing happened to me on the Drake campus, though probably not by campus security and it was a Cyclone license plate holder instead.

I know a lot of Cyclone fans are going to say that I kind of had it coming to me by going to an in-state rivals campus with rival plate holders, but before I could even get out of my car I was completely repulsed and sickened by how much Hawk gear I saw on all of the students. Hawk gear greatly outnumbered the Bulldog gear I saw. I am 100% sure it was not a Drake fan who tore off my plate holder.
