He can win at 'Bama, and Auburn going to the Final Four is going to get the Tide faithful ready to rumble!

Testifying
Was watching CBS Sports channel and they brought up Oats.
Said Michigan may have reached out but his buyout is $18 million+.
They thought it could cost up to $25 mil for the buyout and first season.

Surely that haven't spent all that Natty money. It's only been 2 months.

Why would Oats even want to go there? It’s become an irrelevant program in an irrelevant conference. The Big10 is the 5th best conference at best. If the MWC continues to shine, they won’t be far from jumping them as well.

You have access to a metric crap tonne of talent in Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin etc.
You have more money than almost anyone else to spend on NIL etc.
Your arch-rival's coach has started to wear velcro shoes.
Most of your conference is rudderless and clueless so you could really dominate it.
ESPN will fellate your program on an hourly basis.

It's a very, very good job.

Some potential non-basketball factors: he's from Wisconsin and coached at Romulus for a long time. He's probably familiar with the area and could consider that region home.

I think that is a bit extreme. How is Michigan irrelevant just because Howard has sucked the past two years?
