We are on ESPN2 and aren't the "big Monday" game.
That surprises me. Tech is trending the wrong direction, was just on big Monday and WVU is awful away from home

I think 6-3 the rest of the way and we share, 7-2 wins it outright.
I think we have to go 7-2 for us to get a share of the conference, We already have one more loss than Baylor and KSU, and are tied with Kansas at the halfway point. Go 7-2, that puts us at 5 conferences losses, no way we get a share with 6 losses.
Baylor is the team that could end up winning it, they have Texas twice, and its a horrible matchup for Texas, then OSU, OU and WV all at home, there should be 4 wins. They have to come to Ames, but we struggle with Baylor, go to TT, but they are in freefall. And have 2 games with KSU and a away game at Kansas. They can easily go 7-3 the rest of the way and finish up 13-5.
That earlier lost to Baylor may come back to bite us in the ass.
Baylor has road games against Texas, ISU, KSU, TTech, and KU...pretty easy front end schedule so far. Their depth may also come to hurt them as the season grinds on...we will see.
Boy, I think we broke Tech. They’re just not the same team since that game. Looking more like I expected them to look.
Much like the team, I'm locked in every game. Focusing on one game at a time. I feel like I'm really hitting my stride with the couch sitting, beer drinking, and nervous pacing. The team may be accumulating these wins, but I'm contributing.

They don't have enough offense outside of Culver. They play great defense, but at some point you've got to be able to score. Their defensive style doesn't create a lot of turnovers either like West Virginia's used to so they don't get many free points.
Also, I can not see how Baylor is still in the race. Once they lost Clark, I wrote them off. Since then they've gone 6-1. However, the best win in that stretch was home against Tech, with road wins at OK, WVU, and OkSt, the 3 bottom teams in the conference.
I look at it this way:
KU has four more home games, so they get to 10 wins. They also have OU and OSU on the road, which they also probably win. So that's 12. Then they have at KSU, at TTech, and at TCU, and they probably win one of those. So I think there's a good chance KU gets to 13 wins.
Baylor has the toughest 4 road games left, and KSU has to play baylor twice.
If we continue to play well, it comes down to us vs KU.
Tech is slipping. If they can't pick up the slack, then I think KU takes that one, too, putting them at 14 conference wins.
Agreed, but they also only have 2 losses to our 3, and have 5 home games left, mostly against the bottom half of the conference. TT is slipping and we do not play well against Baylor home or away. They can get to 7 wins, putting pressure on everyone else to try to stay at 5 losses with no more.
Pretty sure I read a stat that Baylor is 2-14 in Ames.

K State is 2-0 in their last 2 in Ames alone. I’m guessing they didn’t lose the previous 14But is anyone better than that? Kansas I suppose...
