I was at Scheels last night and they had an Iowa Hawkeye shirt that said "Never Graduate" on it. Made me laugh.

That is kinda funny, but I think that is an ESPN Brand shirt and they make them for a ton of colleges.

Kill me if you like, but I kinda like the idea. I mean how many times are we called Hawkeyes, Ohio State Cyclones, or something else by national media people??? I do agree that our performance on the field, court, etc should warrant us the respect and attention we deserve, but it's all we've got right now. At least for 77 days right???

That's a steal from The University of Okoboji line of clothes where the official motto is ....." NEVER GRADUATE "

I understand the confusion (fyi if we were to go with these them we'd really need "Not a Buckeye" shirts), but I disagree with trying to fix the image by pointing out we are not who people confuse us with

I'd market my own name and educate people to recognize our name / logo, instead of having them read "Oh, he's not what I thought he was"

Put your best foot forward

Should say "Not a Hawkeye, but a ******* for buying this shirt!"

Then call me a *******. I bought one and wear it out around town all the time. Everywhere I go I see "I bleed black and gold" or "Proud to be a hawk." I get some pretty good comments for it, both for and against. Was feeling like being that guy one day so I wore it down to Coral ridge mall. That was fun.

I think it is a cool idea but needs to say something different

"This may be The Hawkeye State...
But I am a CYCLONE!" or something around those lines

Now that would be a Bad*** shirt
