You also stated something as "fact" in post 413:

"...I know for a fact some players have already contacted her lawyer voicing support..."

Either you don't know the meaning of the word "fact" or you are associated with one of the attorneys mentioned in this thread or you are Nikki Moody.

So which is it Dahlia?

You got me. I couldn't possibly know the info I've stated as fact without being associated with an attorney or being Moody herself. Seriously, this is pure gold you're flinging. Keep it up!

Yeah, that doesn't sound good, but it's still not clear. It does raise curiosity.

Odd that these people just don't say what "racial terms" are being used.

I am guessing I already know the answer. This lawyer knows she can be sued if she is too specific with her claims. Better to make general assertions with no real evidence.

Seems like if you sue someone the case should be dropped, Sent to trial, or someone admits wrongdoing.

Settling out of court jus gives lawyers a payday and encourages people to sue hoping for a settlement.

This would work if you are willing to hire about 500% more judges and build the same amount of new courtrooms, or if you're willing to wait years and years for a case to finally get to trial.

No one is forced to settle; in fact I can think of some entities and businesses who have a "no settlement" policy on certain types of lawsuits to avoid exactly what you are concerned about. But that is their choice and the majority of businesses and entities will settle when it makes sense to do so.

When a plaintiff has the whiff of a case, and when you consider the unpredictability of a jury and the legal costs you'd be on the hook for if you went to trial, it very frequently makes sense to settle early and move on with your life.

Interesting take if I read you right. Iowa State and Fennelly may counter? For defamation or other damages? IF Iowa State is cleared it would be an interesting, but rather unlikely.

nice non-denial.
Don't forget this is a message board and those in the know (dahilaclone) are always posting with the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. They know every aspect of the case and everyone involved so they would never post anything that was not true. There have been many posters to this thread that in all the years I have followed ISUWBB that have NEVER posted but are now experts on the program.

Wow. Can't wait till we hear the other side of the story.

From personal experience on the what major can you do point. He recommended easier majors to white players as well, so that wasn't a race issue. That was a coach knowing how difficult it is to play basketball and go to school at the same time.
Thrown at the wall and see what sticks.

I smell BS - if you wanted to be a vet then quit bball and study hard and take out monster loans like all the other kids did and be a vet! It is not rocket science to see the bs in this lawsuit - if the WNBA says you were not good enough - then you were not good enough. Blaming a coach cause you were yelled at by a meanie is just pouting like a little girl. Stop whining and grow up and do something positive. I am sure your "lawyers" keep telling you to stick it to him and ISU and State of Iowa cause your itty bitty feelings were hurt - their job ( in case your less than stellar academics have failed you too ) is to bring in money to the firm. Winning has zero to do with anything for these ambulance chasers. Thankfully their name is on lawsuit so all ISU alum and friends can remove business and never start with these cretins.
