I think I've gone as far as I can with my name. From now on, I want everyone to refer to me as T-Bone.

My last name is pretty unique in itself so it's usually just that. Or shortened to 'Koobs'.

I'm just called by my last name. I'm the only person at my university with it. So, if they say my last name to someone, they know it's me. It can be good or bad.

Mine is Oldman. I was in the Navy for four years before college, so I was 22 when I started. A lot of the friends I made were a bit younger. And I was always the voice of reason when it came to staying out of handcuffs. And I can be kind of gruff.

none, though some of my mom's friends tried to give me one one time. That was weird and didn't stick, for which I am glad.

My initials being MOH, my nickname has always been Moh (like Moe.. seems obvious, but when I explain it to people they always say "what about the H?").

Have been called it less and less as I get older (a big chunk of it was from high school athletics), but still get called Moh by my girlfriend, immediate family, and closest friends.

Been called Potty since high school. Not for any bathroom related reasons, but my friend's dad called me Potluck because it was similar to my last name, and it just got shortened to Potty. I don't mind it, except for when new acquaintances think they can call me it.

I graduated high school in 1978. Virtually every male student was called something other than their first name. At the very least we called them by their last name. I often wondered if that was just our school or if it was the style back then. Eggy, Max, Peps, Meter, Hoggy, Fonz, Leroy, Chub, Tator, Seebs, Gravy, Slink, Dog, Huck, Cee, Junkman, Proof, Quick Death, Kronie, Boar nuts, Loggy, Crazy Pete, , Mussen, Edge, Freak, this is all from memory in about 2 minutes. Just to name a few.

I was called "Crow" by the older/bully kids in elementary school. Short for crow-bait. Yeah, no, I didn't like it. I was pretty scrawny and nerdy so was easy to pick on then.

Had one boss at Hy-Vee call me by my name spelled backwards. Which also happened to be his middle name. He was cool so I didn't mind that.

One guy at work called me "first-name"-inator. My first name ends with "M" so it sort of flowed. I didn't mind that.

In high school, during my circle of friends' rap phase, I picked up the nickname Jdogg. The name has stuck with that circle of friends.

In college I picked up the nickname TK or TKO depending on which group of friends I was with (T and K being the first two letters of my last name).

Before I was married, one of my wife's brothers referred to me as "Hey you". I actually miss that one.

When I worked at ISU I was called Shorty, Spike and Bean. They were in reference to my height, hair and a weird take-off of my first name.

Now I'm often called Bugs, and at work, Dr. Science. -- I tend to be the go to person for all the weird questions and situations.
