Holy ****. Sarkisian or Kiffin have to be the top 2 candidates?

Why would you leave Texas? Better job, more resources, more money, ZERO reasons you can't win.

Kiffin or Dabo. The uncertainty within the ACC may have Dabo looking elsewhere.

Just need a Belichick to depart from Patriots release today and that would be one hell of a trifecta of coaching news today:

Carroll

Saban

Belichick

That answers my question---I was wondering if they had an internal candidate.

I'd be very leery of taking that job. I'd much rather be the guy that replaces the guy that replaced Saben than the guy that replaces Sabin.

Yeah, it'll be damn near impossible to match what Saban did in this upcoming era.

It's gotta be Kiffin or Lanning, those 2 make so much sense.

Here's a flier candidate RichRod.

You never want to follow a legend.

Even aside from that, i think the 12 team playoff will help spread talent out a bit more than the 4 team. A lot more viable teams to make the playoff in the 12-team model.

We're going to see a bunch of older coaches doing this.

Coaching and kissing booster asses was already two full time jobs now you've got to re-recruit your own team, get in the portal and deal with NIL. Guys just aren't going to do it.

And I don't blame them for a second.
