Monte Morris..4* (96th Nationally) Monte Morris - Yahoo! Sports
Matt Thomas .. 4* (54th Nationally) Matt Thomas - Yahoo! Sports
Gorges Niang.. 4* (69th Nationally) Georges Niang - Yahoo! Sports
Clayton Custer.. 4* (90th Nationally) Clayton Custer - Yahoo! Sports

    Hopeful

Rashad Vaughn.. 5* (7th Nationally) Rashad Vaughn - Yahoo! Sports
Josh Cunningham 4* (80th Nationally) Josh Cunningham - Yahoo! Sports

The only thing that tempers my excitement is the fact we would still be a really small team even with that major upgrade in talent. So imagine this, lets say we get custer, vaughn, and Cunningham. That would make six 4 stars or higher and ALL of which are top 100 players. The awesome thing is we'd have a player that good sitting on the bench trying to GET minutes.

Agreed on the Nader post (forgot about him somehow)

Abdel Nader...3* (no rating, but look at the offers) http://rivals.yahoo.com/iowastate/basketball/recruiting/player-Abdel-Nader-108022

Just as long as we stick to fundamentals and do things the right way still

    Custer doesn't start. He's a possible redshirt.

I like Custer a lot but he won't be replacing Morris next year or even likely to be in the same lineup.

I just really hope somehow Fred can find a 6'10-11" guy who doesn't have to score whatsoever, but if he can bang against big bodies we'd have a pretty decent "complete" college team for next year. First things first, go get Vaughn and go get Cunningham. Go clones!

Don't forget about Jameel Mckay (still a possibility but falls in the same category as RV and JC)... he was a 4 * out of HS as well. Jameel McKay - Yahoo! Sports

Custer won't RS, Morris is the only true PG on the roster this year and next year.

Lol no way Custer RS's. Morris can't be the only PG on the team.

I'll respectfully disagree until I see this recruiting class shape up.

Adding Vaughn and Cunningham to this class would be the ****.

Smaller team, but you could make two pretty darn good starting 5s out of that. Almost be like a total line change.

    Even without Vaughn:

    Morris - Thomas - Hogue - Nader - Niang

    bench:
    Long
    Percy
    SDW
    Custer
    Edozie

That's a pretty sick team. Add in a McKay or Vaughn here or there and wow!

whats with Niangs offer list, at his ranking to have a kinda poor offer list. Plus he is a smart likeable kid that from what it seems is no risk of being in trouble
