Something to keep in mind with helmet designs: Just about any design could look attractive in close-up, one helmet at a time.

Try to imagine how a specific design would look at a typical viewing distance, with 11 players wearing it on the field during a game.

That Navy helmet, for example, may look slick, but details are lost in real-time use. What's wrong with using only the anchor?

I guess I'm in the minority by thinking the overwhelming majority of all if these new concept helmets and jerseys are hideous. I'd be happy going with the Jack Trice throwbacks as an alti-uni and being done with it.

I love the current jerseys. Wouldn't mind seeing some new alternates/helmets combos though. At least 1 new one for this season would make me ecstatic.
