If Paul Rhoads and staff are fired at the end of the season, how many of the current football scholarship offers do you folks think the new staff would honor? How many of the recruits would decide to attend college elsewhere? Recruiting has to be very difficult for the current staff under these circumstances. These questions make it very difficult for me to be motivated to follow ISU football recruiting until the coaching question for next season is settled.

Hopefully, all the current recruits are making their choice based on the only reason that holds water. They primarily want to attend ISU and that an ISU experience and education are their primary goals.

What I've learned over the years is that most football guys pick a school...basketball guys are going somewhere because of a coach. This isn't always the case. If Rhoads is gone, I'm sure ISU will lose some. But that's just the way it seems to trend. Plus when that decision would be made, a lot of these guys' options will be limited based off of scholarships left at other places, etc.

This year and last year should have been the effort exerted in 2012 and 2013. Was the staff asleep at the wheel? The team is looking much much better with the current staff.

I don't think you recruit one "year" at a time. You recruit one "class" at a time, but it takes years to make things happen. Having some significant stability with assistant coaches seems to be paying off.

Let me settel that for you, Paul isn't leaving! You can go! You add nothing to this program but grief. I hope this irritates you the same way you irritate me. Now I'm happy.
